There is a Centra Supermarket and Petrol station at the entrance and a Pub and Deli/Café further down the road. Hot food is available in the Pub.
Yes. In Bantry Hospital and in the GP clinics. An out of hours services, South DOC operates overnight.
The Park itself is NOT suitable for children cycling. We have lots of pathways and hilly terraces and children forget the dangers of traffic.
While it is not an absolute necessity, it is a huge advantage. Without one, you will miss out on the best of West Cork. Public transport will get you here but not down the peninsulas and the magical hidden places.
